Kelly schedule 2027 calendar

On the 9-day Kelly rotation you work three 24-hour shifts with a day off between each, then get a 4-day break. Find your 2027 group by your first 4-day break to see every break, which holidays you're on duty, and a calendar to print.

The 9-day cycle moves through the week, so weekend shifts and free weekends are spread across the year. A free weekend here means no work from Saturday morning to Sunday night, so no Friday shift running into Saturday.

How do I know which group I am in?

Find your first 4-day break of 2027: it starts on Jan 2 for the Jan 2 group, Jan 5 for the Jan 5 group, Jan 8 for the Jan 8 group. Or use your first 2027 shift: Jan 1 means the Jan 2 group, Jan 2 means the Jan 5 group, Jan 3 means the Jan 8 group. Your platoon letter doesn't matter, because departments assign letters differently.

Is this the same as a 24/48 with a Kelly day?

No. This page is the 9-day Kelly rotation: 24 on, 24 off, 24 on, 24 off, 24 on, then 4 days off, the same average hours as a 24/48 (about 56 a week) arranged into a 4-day break. On a 24/48 with a Kelly day, every 7th shift is a scheduled day off, which gives a 5-day break and about 48 hours a week. If that's your rotation, choose "24/48 with a Kelly day" in the calendar's pattern list.

How many full weekends off do I get on a Kelly schedule in 2027?
